If you’d like your iPhone or iPad to automatically update itself  whenever Apple releases a new update... 

1) Tap Settings

2) Then tap on General

3) Tap software update

4) Tap Automatic Updates

5) Then just turn on the switch to enable Automatic Updates

Now whenever apple sends out a new update...

It will automatically be installed overnight if your device has your power charger plugged in and is connected to your WiFi.

So if you always want to be up to date with the very latest Apple has to offer....

Turn this feature on.

OR… 

If you’re like me and you share my "If it ain’t broke don’t fix it attitude", and you’d rather wait for any potential new update bugs to get ironed out...

Then make sure this option is turned off.
